UL Creative Services Support

Units with no dedicated MarCom manager can request support through the UL Creative Services team here. Request support in one of the following areas: Graphic Design, Photography, Videography, Website, Writing, Strategy and planning.

All marketing request submissions must follow UL MarCom submission requirements: 

  • All Marketing requests need a minimum of two weeks turnaround time.
  • Events need a minimum of two weeks turnaround time + two weeks advertising time. (4 weeks total) 
    • While 2 weeks is our minimum requirement for submission, please review our timeline outcomes for a more in-depth understanding of what you can expect given your request submission timeline.  
  • Notes:
    • Marketing requests submitted without all necessary details will delay the project completion date. 
    • Units should provide feedback within 1-2 business days, or their projects will be put on hold and delay the project completion date.

UL "Learn More" Button Submission

The "Learn More" Button allows for your event or initiative to be featured in the top banner of the ulife.gmu.edu website.

The UL Social Media Team is always looking for events, initiatives, resources and more to promote to our campus community through our ULife accounts (@MasonULife). Please submit our form to share details with us so we can review and add to our social media plans when possible. To request specific reposts, collaborations and more, please see our requirements below.  

Collaborations

  • Please use the UL Social Media Request form to request intentional collaborative posts with the UL Social media accounts.
  • After submission, your request will be reviewed by our Social Media Manager who will follow up with the next steps. 

Adding to Stories

  • To request story posts on specific days, or as part of a larger campaign, please submit our Social Media form here so we can add the content to our plans.
  • We will informally accept story tags to repost via Instagram Direct Messages, but these will be reviewed and accepted sporadically each day/ week unless agreed upon by Social Media Manager in advance.

Note:

  • We do not accept “Collaboration Requests” without advanced notice to allow for planning and review of content. 
  • The UL MarCom social team may not be able to accept all requests, but we will do our best to amplify and support all UL initiatives through direct posts, story posts, and/or collaborative posts when possible.

The Office of University Branding will review submissions and choose what events to feature each week. To give your submission the best chance of being selected, keep these points of consideration in mind:

  • Events should have widespread student appeal
  • Be submitted with at least four weeks’ notice
  • Provide a link to the Mason360 event for registration
